Corporate Benefits Manager

The Corporate Benefits Manager will be responsible for the design, implementation, administration, and communication of all benefit plans including medical, dental, vision, disability insurance, life insurance, employee assistance programs, wellness programs and retiree medical plans.
Description of duties:
oEnsure that benefit programs support the organization's strategic objectives, comply with legal requirements and are competitive and cost effective
oPerform detailed analysis of benefits claim experience/cost identifying how and where claims are incurred.
oCoordinate the implementation of wellness and disease management guidelines and procedures to establish and achieve effective long-range goals and objectives
oServes as internal resource for information, problem resolution and communication to HR managers related to health & welfare related questions.
oWork with health & welfare administrator and carriers to coordinate implementation of plan changes or new programs.
oResearch and provide resolution to internal and external issues using written plan documents for health & welfare plans throughout the U.S. and Canada.
oIdentify, analyze and assist in implementing process improvements
oManage carriers and coordinate negotiation of coverages, services and pricing for plans
oSupervise two Benefit Analysts who resolve eligibility, billing and claim issues
oProvide support to the respective business units in respect of labor negotiations, including, but not limited to, costings of various benefit plan changes.
oSubject matter expert related to all Affordable Care Act requirements.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
