Position Description
Sells the company's low & high complexity products and/or services via telephone. Generates prospective customers through cold calling and closes sales generated by cold calling. Qualifies and follows up with sales leads. May direct customers to website or other company resources for information. May establish and maintain relationships with channel partners. Keeps up-to-date knowledge of the industry, as well as the competitive posture of the company, and prepares activity and forecast reports as requested. Exercises judgment with defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action. Has thorough knowledge of company products/services.
Key Responsibilities
Prospecting for new opportunities
Executing defined sales campaigns
Generating quotes/proposals & presenting solutions to prospects
Working with prospects to execute contracts.
Identifying customer reference accounts to leverage in sales process.
Collaborating outside sales partners/resources to generate leads.
Minimum Requirements
1
years sales experience
Critical Skills
At least 1 year of experience with Telesales
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Time Management skills to balance prospecting, proposing, closing and follow up.
Strategic thinker to connect and communicate our service offerings to the overall McKesson value proposition.
Additional Knowledge & Skills
Some experience in selling payment processing services and solutions preferred.
Salesforce experience
Education
4-year degree in business or related field or equivalent experience
Certifications/Licensure
Formal Sales training or certifications preferred but not required.
