Description:
POSITION PURPOSEProvides advanced analytical and technical expertise and enterprise-wide leadership of all existing and proposed identity management and directory services related computer technologies.
Utilizes expert technical skills and sets standards and best practices for multiple identity management, directory services, identity federation, and related systems.
Serves as a subject matter expert and resource on product evaluation, selection, deployment and utilization.
Provides oversight, leads and participates in planning, design, development, implementation, support and setting standards for enterprise-wide identity and access management, which includes access/authorization control, identity federation, automated provisioning, identity integration, directory design strategy, security, and asset management.
Serves as an enterprise-wide project leader for Identity and Access Management initiatives and provides technical guidance, problem resolution support to staff.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Leads and collaborates on enterprise-wide projects.
Provides technical guidance, leadership and influence of project teams.
Assigns work and provides oversight, coaching and mentoring to staff.
Provides input on staff evaluations.
Designs, builds and supports enterprise systems such as advanced technologies for access and authorization governance, directory services, identity management, identity federation and related systems.
Leads technical participation in and support of enterprise customer projects and activations, evaluation and deployment of new technologies and implementation and configuration of new applications.
Serves as a technical expert and resource troubleshooting and providing problem resolution of complex hardware and software issues regardless of the environment enterprise-wide.
Works with vendors on complex integration issues.
Maintains and enhances a high level of customer service, effectively tracks and monitors all services provided, measures performance and evaluates customer service levels and requirements consistent with, or exceeding, established parameters and desired outcomes.
Makes technical and procedural recommendations based on trending and analysis of server performance data.
Leads the process of evaluating and selecting new enterprise-wide technology.
Serves as a primary technical liaison and point of contact with vendors and internal support teams and provides input regarding purchases consistent with the organizations strategic goals and plans.
Evaluates, selects or recommends and utilizes new, advanced support tools and applications.
Provides research to arrive at solutions to complex hardware and software issues.
Writes and maintains technical documentation utilized enterprise-wide.
Provides input to management regarding all aspects of Intel-based systems, which includes input on strategic planning, disaster recovery, defining service level agreements, maintenance and enhancement opportunities, service improvements and expense control opportunities.
Serves as a 3rd and 4th level (vendor contact) resource regarding all Intel-based hardware and software issues within the team's stewardship responsibility.
Works in partnership with system office department project managers providing assistance and technical guidance in order to meet project goals and deliverables.
Provides support, facilitation and coordination for agreed upon project work plans for enterprise components.
Researches enterprise-wide industry trends to maintain and enhance information technology and healthcare information services knowledge, understanding, awareness and skill set in order to guide, advise and serve as a resource to peers and customers regarding computing needs and strategic options.
Responsible for adherence to expense control initiatives for specified area/scope of responsibility and within approved budget.
Responsible for adherence to Trinity Health policies and security standards.
Knows, understands, incorporates, and demonstrates the Trinity Health Mission, Vision, and Values in behaviors, practices, and decisions.
Maintains a working knowledge of applicable Federal, State and local laws/regulations; the Trinity Health Integrity and Compliance Program and Code of Conduct; as well as other policies and procedures in order to ensure adherence in a manner that reflects honest, ethical and professional behavior.

Pay range:
$94,425.
4906 - $141,638.
2359 PREFERRED SKILLS:
Seeking individuals with Sailpoint.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Considerable knowledge of local and wide area networks concepts, network communication protocols, Novell and Microsoft Operating Systems and Directories.
Certified NetWare Engineer (CNE) designation, Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE), Linux Professional Institute Certification (LPIC) or equivalent designation preferred.
Minimum 7 years working experience with one or more of the following:
Active Directory, Novell Directory Services, Oracle Virtual Directory or Red Hat Directory Services.
Minimum of seven (7) or more years of related technical experience with Intel-based systems management and support in an enterprise-class network environment consisting of 100 or more servers.
Considerable in-depth knowledge and experience with server hardware, peripherals, software, network operating systems, protocols and administration.
Effective understanding and working knowledge of authentication, authorization, or identity management standards/protocols such as Kerberos/NTLM, LDAP, Active Directory, Novell Directory Services, SAML and WS-Federation.
Familiarity with various scripting methods such as PowerShell or Visual Basic Proficiency with creation and editing of XML files.
Demonstrated ability to lead project teams and manage several projects at one time.
Effective oral and written communication skills with all levels of management, physicians, associates and external vendors and customers.
Comfortable presenting to large groups.
Self-motivated and self directed in fulfilling assigned tasks and responsibilities.
Proficiency with data manipulation tools such as Excel, Access or SQL Proficiency with project management software such as Microsoft Project.
Ability to effectively lead and provide guidance to staff.
Ability to provide third and fourth tier support to local and remote site locations for multiple hardware and software technologies and regardless of the environment.
Advanced technical troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
