This position requires a minimum commitment of 5 years, with the potential for extension or permanent employment.
Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecological care, including prenatal care, postnatal care, family planning advice, and routine well-woman examinations.
Perform minor and major surgical procedures related to the field of obstetrics and gynecology.
Diagnose and manage a wide range of conditions related to women's reproductive health, including but not limited to, infertility, menopause, hormonal disorders, cervical and breast cancer.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as nurses, anesthesiologists, and surgeons, to ensure the highest quality of patient care.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest advancements in the field of obstetrics and gynecology.
Participate in continuing education and professional development activities to stay current with the latest trends and advancements in the field.
Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, including maintaining patient confidentiality and following all relevant healthcare laws and regulations.
Qualifications:
Must hold a Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
Completion of an accredited residency program in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Board certified or board eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in the field of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Demonstrated surgical skills in obstetrics and gynecology procedures.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and colleagues.
Strong problem-solving abilities and a commitment to patient-centered care.
Current, valid license to practice medicine in the state.
Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and on-call shifts.
