Department Marketing Statement
Due to continued success, Roush is undergoing an exciting period of growth across many domains. We have a current opening for an AWS Certified Welding Inspector for the afternoon shift who, at a minimum, will be responsible for weld inspection of metal fabricated parts. This person will be working with in a wide diversity of industries including aviation, military, defense, and entertainment rides. The position is located at our Livonia, MI facility.
Qualifications
Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum 5 years of producing metal fabricated parts.
Must have current AWS CWI certificate.
Excellent understanding of AWS A2.4.
Excellent understanding of AWS A3.0.
Experience with low volume weldments and machining processes and practices.
Experience with AWS D1.X codes is highly preferred.
Experience with aviation, oil/gas, military industries is highly preferred!
Must be a detail oriented, self starter, willing to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment.
Able to work independently and in a team environment.
